Tayside Fire and Rescue are recruiting for Wholetime Firefighters commencing 6 February 2012.

In pursuit of our organisational aim of People we are holding an information weekend targeted at underrepresented groups including women, people from a minority ethnic background and the LGBT community.

Our information days will allow potential candidates to find out about:

• The role of a Firefighter
• The recruitment process and what is expected of applicants
• Fitness levels and eyesight standards
• Practical recruitment tests with demonstrations
• In addition it will give individuals the opportunity to speak first hand to serving Firefighters


The information days are being held from 10am to 3pm on Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 February at Headquarters, Blackness Road, Dundee, DD1 5PA.
