DUNDEE BOWED its collective head yesterday in a display of respect for the sacrifice of local soldier Kevin Elliott, killed in action in Afghanistan. Hundreds of people gathered to pay their last respects to the 24-year-old who died on the last day of August, during a rocket-propelled grenade attack by insurgents while on patrol in the Babaji District of Helmand Province—an attack that also cost the life of his Inverness colleague, Sergeant Stuart “Gus” Millar.
