Control Room Operator
Firefighter (Control)

£20,099 - £26,790

Based within the Command and Control Centre, you will work 42 hours per week on a shift system, (day duty 0800 - 1800 hours and night duty 1800 - 0800 hours).

Duties include receiving 999 calls, mobilising resources via a computerised Command and Control system and operating telephone and radio systems.  It is essential that you have excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as experience of using computer systems, in particular, windows based applications.  You must also be able to maintain accurate keyboard skills while working under pressure.
