Tayside Fire & Rescue

Departments

Tayside Fire and Rescue has five departments:

 Personnel Services  Corporate Services
 Technical Services  Risk Management
 Community Safety 

These departments fall under either Service Delivery or Service Support business stream.  Service Delivery is headed by the Deputy Chief Fire Officer and comprises of Community Safety and Risk Management, and Service Support which is headed by the Assistant Chief Fire Officer and comprises of Personnel Services, Technical Services and Corporate Services.

The Heads of Department are supported by Section Heads who are responsible for a specialist theme within each department. Their workload each year is determined by the contents of our Integrated Risk Management Plan (Towards a Safer Tayside) which details Action Points which are allocated to each department. These Action Points are the work required to be done to meet the strategic objectives of the organisation. By meeting these strategic objectives we fulfil our Corporate Aims.
