Fitness Advisor

Full time - 37 hours

Salary range from £21,202 up to £23,203 per annum

In this post you will provide fitness advice and carry out fitness testing for all staff. You will assist in promoting health and wellbeing at work through the Healthy Working Lives Initiative. You will oversee the administration of the First Aid training programmes and will assist in the delivery of First Aid and Moving and Handling training. You will work within the Occupational Health, Safety and Wellbeing Unit.

You should have an HNC or HND in Sports Coaching or Sports Development (or equivalent).Previous experience of carrying out fitness assessments is desirable. A current First Aid certificate would be beneficial. A full valid driving license is essential.

Enthusiastic, and able to work on your own, you must be a good communicator.  A commitment to the principles of fairness and dignity at work is essential as is a good working knowledge of Disability Discrimination legislation.
