2 Our number 1 aim is to work with all of our communities to prevent fires and other emergency incidents from occurring in the first place. We believe that becoming more involved within our communities to promote prevention through Home Fire Safety Visits will enable us to achieve this aim.

5 The proposals contained within this Consultation Document continue to build upon our previous achievements. These achievements have increased levels of community safety by identifying the risks to our communities from fire and other emergency incidents and have enabled us to target our prevention activities at those within our communities who are at most risk.
