Glenshee Fire Station (Volunteer)

Built in 1999, Glenshee Fire Station is located on the A93 near Finegand Farm.

The Fire Station has one front line appliance, a fully equipped Water Tender Ladder, and is staffed by volunteer personnel. The current establishment for the station is a Crew Manager and 11 firefighters with the majority working and living in the community of Glenshee. The station personnel are the main asset and in addition to responding to emergencies they undertake a range of Community Safety activities that are primarily aimed at preventing deaths and injuries in fires.

The geographical area served by Glenshee is mainly rural and includes small commercial properties, small residential areas and a large farming community.
